Therapy
CBT | EMDR | Anxiety | Depression | Trauma

Therapy offers a confidential and supportive space to explore the challenges you are facing and begin to make meaningful changes in your life. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or struggling to cope with difficult experiences.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Together we will explore the patterns behind your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, helping you to understand what may be maintaining the difficulties you are experiencing and how change can happen.
My approach is collaborative and practical. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, developing strategies and insights that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Common Reasons People Seek Therapy
People come to therapy for many different reasons. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and life challenges including:
- Anxiety and excessive worry
- Low mood or depression
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma and distressing experiences
- Difficult life transitions
- Relationship challenges
- Loss and bereavement
- Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future

Therapy can be valuable for anyone seeking support to understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and to make positive changes in their life. Whatever your circumstances, therapy offers a safe space to pause, reflect, and make positive changes to move forward.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT is a well-established, evidence-based therapy that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
Through CBT we explore patterns in how you think and respond to situations, and develop practical strategies to help you approach difficulties differently. This might include learning new coping skills, challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, and gradually building confidence in situations that currently feel difficult.
CBT is structured, goal-focused, and designed to help you develop tools that continue to support you beyond therapy.
EMDR Therapy
I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
EMDR is a highly effective treatment for trauma and distressing life experiences. It helps the brain process memories that may feel “stuck”, allowing them to be integrated in a way that reduces their emotional impact.
Many people find EMDR particularly helpful for managing the emotional impact of traumatic events, including those events that lead to a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and adverse childhood experiences,
How we will work together
Therapy sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual goals. In our first session we will explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change or understand better.
From there we will develop a plan for our work together. Some people benefit from shorter, focused work, while others choose to work together over a longer period of time.
Sessions are available online or face-to-face in Exeter, providing flexibility depending on what works best for you.
I also work with clients based internationally via online sessions.
Fees
Therapy sessions are typically 50 – 60 minutes and the cost is from £95 per session for self-funding clients based in the UK.
I am also an approved provider for a number of health insurers including Axa, Aviva, Bupa, and WPA. Please contact me if you would like to check availability for insurance-funded sessions.
Fees for international clients may vary depending on location and session arrangements. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss availability and pricing.
